404 Biography : Mind Museum


Bristol based band, Mind Museum are set to make their mark on the currently buoyant Brit-rock scene with their uniquely captivating sound that merges alternative rock, with probing guitar rhythms and engaging poignant vocals. With powerful post-punk ethics, pulling from an eclectic array of influences including Biffy Clyro, Circa Survive, The Cure, Nirvana, Muse, At The Drive In, Jimmy Eat World, The Police to name a few.

Mind Museum formed in July 2010 in Bristol, UK and the band is made up of 3 passionate and dedicated musicians all from the ashes of other bands including I AM THE DOOR – southwest based indie rock band who in the 3 years together gained air time on Radio 1 and had interest from many record companies. They completed a number of UK tours including supports for Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Enter Shikari, Minus the bear. Also ex Full Scream Ahead members – Southwest based rock band that played alongside bands such as, Attack Attack, Twin Atlantic, and Straight Lines. The band released an EP in 2009 titled ‘We Write Our Own Anthems’ and received considerable press including Kerrang, Rocksound and many web-zines.

The trio singer/bass player Justin E Percival, Guitarist Will Slater and Chas Bacon Drums have played across the UK with some great bands including Young Guns, Twin Atlantic, The King Blues and The Royal Republic. They have released two EP’s ‘Rat Race (2011)’ and ‘The Power of Three (2012)’ and made a couple of videos ‘Rat Race (2011)’ & ‘Lie To Me (2012)’ that have been played on national TV. Every month that goes by they seem to be moving up the ladder step by step and building up a loyal following. They have created something brand new perfectly crafted, produced and polished without losing any heart, soul and rawness – welcome to Mind Museum.
